Finally Las Vegans Can Have Live Chickens In Their Backyards
Last month the city of Las Vegas joined Clark County in allowing homeowners to raise live chickens in their backyards. This is a really important development for all of Las Vegas because raising live chickens is now a major status symbol!
And who doesn't like fresh eggs in the morning????
In Clark County, you can have up to 20 chickens but only three roosters. (Noise control, I suppose.) And they have to be cooped up in a chicken coop.
In the city of Las Vegas, you can only have 10 chickens.
Here's the rub: You have to get every adjacent property owner to agree to the chickens. But we Las Vegans know how to do that, because that's been an HOA requirement for years.
I have very accommodating neighbors. Am thinking about it. You?
